About the Animalarium
The Animalarium is a family-run zoo and sanctuary in Borth, focused on practical daily care, education and meaningful encounters with animals.
Family-run
The site is operated by a small team whose work spans animal care, reception, maintenance, experiences and Merlin’s Café.
Welfare first
Opening arrangements, talks and experiences may change when an animal needs privacy, treatment or a different routine. Welfare takes priority over the timetable.
Supported by visitors
Admission, experiences, café purchases and donations contribute directly to food, staffing, veterinary care and enclosure improvements.
